We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.Job Summary:Supermicro Computer is currently looking for talented System Validation Engineer to partner with Hardware Designing team to validate in-house servers and workstation platforms, troubleshoot and detect any problem of current validation project. The candidate will be responsible to provide technical specifications, to test configurations to verify systems' stability and reliability. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with both internal engineering and product team on various projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Perform motherboard and server system application validation testing• Conduct functional and compatibility testing on various operating systems such as Linux and Windows• Perform motherboard and hardware functional validation testing• Perform server configuration and system performance testing• Report hardware and software quality assurance issues into bug tracking systems• Duplicate customers motherboard issue if needed• Work with customers and product management to understand production use of the product and understand advanced functionality requirementsQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor or Master's degree in CS, CE, EE or similar • Familiar with server and computer architecture• Basic knowledge of networking/TCPIP and Linux operation system• Strong communication skill in both written and verbalPreferred Qualifications:• 2-4+ years of working experience in system or component testing• Familiar with HPC, data center, networking architecture, system mechanics, etc.• Expert technical knowledge of designing and implementing Server system• Benchmarking experienceSalary Range $95,000 - $113,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
