Garden State Surgical Center is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ambulatory surgery center team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring patient safety, and creating a positive surgical experience from admission through discharge.

Position Summary

The RN is responsible for assessing, preparing, monitoring, and educating patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or ability to obtain within established timeframe.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Previous Pre-Op, PACU, critical care, emergency department, or ambulatory surgery experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center setting.
• Knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
